About
Geoff Roberts
I have been a professional photographer all of my working
life, covering weddings, portrait and commercial assignments.
I
love photographing weddings. They're good fun, always happy
occasions and everyone looks their best.
I
qualified as a photographer at Portsmouth College of Art
many years ago and worked for a number of studios before
becoming head of photography for a major multi-national
electronics company for a number of years before starting
my own business specialising in wedding photography.
As
a qualified member of The British Institute of Professional
Photography, The Master Photographers Association and
The
Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers plus
one of only 5 photographers accredited by Hampshire Trading
Stadards as a "Buy with Confidence" supplier,
I am bound
by their rules and constitutions to provide a fair and professional
quality service.

One
of the joys of working as a photographer is the amazing
variety of assignments I get to cover, meeting people and
going to places that I would never get the opportunity to
do in normal life.

I
am well known and respected in professional circles and
lecture on a regular basis to photographic societies and
camera clubs, also teaching digital techniques and image
manipulation to other professionals and amateurs. I am a
member of the judging and lecturing panels of the Photographic
Alliance of Great Britain
I
love what I do and have endless enthusiasm to learn new
techniques and styles, regularly attending seminars and
lectures by top international photographers.
The
best part of being a photographer for me is meeting people
and seeing the pleasure that my photography brings.
I
like to work quietly and unobtrusively at your wedding,
creating the minimum of fuss whilst capturing the magic
of the day.
